after a lot of looks and personal tours of many of these coaches from both Newmar and Entegra, I will add my two cents:

-BOTH are very quality coaches - and you can also add AmericanCoach to the mix, though I have seen far fewer of these on the road[fleetwood/REV]

-ENTEGRA, now owned by Thor, has a full TWO YEAR warranty period - if that tips the scales for you

-NEWMAR is a very 'custom order' company - if you order one you can choose different color(outside/inside), furniture types, furniture placement, All electric, etc. Of course, this means a wait time, but also means you can choose to go to the factory and view your personal coach while it is being built, and choose factory PDI pickup where the factory technicians guide you during your first several days in your new coach.
-Entegra is a stock built only manufacturer - your choices are only from the floor plans and color choices offered. There is no 'factory pickup' that I'm aware of.

Entegra has 4 diesel model lines(all tag axles) Luxury Motorhomes | Entegra Coach
Newmar has 7 http://www.newmarcorp.com/
AmericanCoach is down to 3 American Coach RV – Luxury Class A Motorhomes – American Luxury Coach | American Coach

regardless of the differences, though, you will be satisfied with either choice when it comes to build quality, full time living, driving comfort, and overall enjoyment - you'll also be the envy of the neighborhood. : )
