P.S. If it weren't for the washer & dryer, I could never get my wife to travel in the RV.
Ditto

I've had both in various RVs. The combo unit is better than washing clothes in a bucket, but not by much. The problem we had with the combo unit was the capacity was very small. Like 3 towels max. The other problem was when it was ready to dry it just took the wet clothes and knotted them up in a ball. We have the individual units now and like them much better. The capacity is not huge, but if you do laundry every few days when on hookups, it works fine.

Thanks everyone for your input. We have decided to buy the Splendide combo that is vented. This forum is the best....

Jeff, we are very happy with our old Splendide 2000 W/D combo. If I were buying a new one and had the space, I would get the stacked units. If you plan to do much long-term traveling, then I think a W/D is a great thing to have!

We have full timed with the 2100 Splendide for 8 years now. If you aren't obsessive about laundry procedures and you don't fixate on the idea that these combo units aren't as capable as a full size pair with a 240 VAC you will be very happy with your combo.
