LeeSusan, thanks for the information.

Please continue to post. Occasionally people get a sand burr lodged in their ass and it comes out wrong. I have a bunch of trouble in this area and most people on here have been very kind.

Lee, I really think nothermark was referring to the video, not to your comments.

Nothermark is sure he was referring to the video. I have no idea what Lee's background is. Whoever made the video greatly exagerated the danger at 30 VAC and made unreasonable blanket statements like never to make your own extension cord. The video was made by a professional fear monger or fool, not a teacher or helper.

As an electrician I them to say a circuit is live, when it says off I am wary and get a digital meter to make sure
