I would install an ARP fridge boiler monitor. I have one in my coach. It helps prevent long term damage to the fridge and substantially lowers the fire risk.

Install a automatic fire extinguisher in the rear area.

Also, make sure that it has had the recall done.

Make that recalls!

This pdf explains how the cooling system operates, and what happens when the system fails: http://www.aegiforensics.com/library...ires-Part1.pdf
It was surprising to read the Norcold system has a thermal blow-out plug that melts at 281*F, and is/was designed to prevent fires.

The cooling unit went out on ours so I installed an Amish cooling unit. That gets rid of the problem.
The Magna has a JennAir home refer so no problems there.

It was the 4-door Norcolds that were the subject of a couple of recalls due to fires. If the RV you're looking at has a double-door Norcold, it probably was never on a recall list.

I would either replace the cooling unit and add the ARP protection kit, or replace the entire fridge with a residential unit. It it still has the original cooling unit, I would not sleep in it even one night!
