If any of Y'all RVing down from the north or up from the south fill up as close as you can the NC but not in NC.. Fuel is around $.20 higher here a lot due to the taxes we got. I am still running Va. fuel from my last time out.

I try to slip over the state line into TN when I need fuel, got regular gas at Walmart on Monday for $1.909. It runs from $2.09 to $2.29 around here in my part of NC.
Diesel is still about $2.59 a gallon, haven't bought any in while though.

South Carolina fuel is also much cheaper than NC. We always try to avoid fueling in NC.

Kablewizard,
You know, you really need to trade in that gas hog Goldwing for a better gas mileage vehicle.
My Yamaha Majesty gets 65 MPG

Diandtom,
Thanks, filled up at the Flying J in Fort Chiswell Va., ($2.13) yesterday before entering NC., because we needed to, not because we were aware. Spending a few day's in W/S and F-ville with relatives, will use their wheels to make sure we can make it to SC. or will add just a little if need be to get out of the state.

In the Orlando area it is around $2.02 per gallon but higher in the Daytona area due to a road tax they have in that area.

I usually try to fill up in Georgia if I'm headed South. Always seems cheaper there. Here in Southern Delaware at the local gas station todays price is $1.959.

We did our part here in FL--------gas just under or alittle over $2 per gal and diesel is at about $2.36. Sooooo deal wifey and I decided to park the diesel truck----just run it for going camping and we bought a Scion xB (yup thats the ugly little box) and get 36 mpg and around 31 mpg in town. Its big on the inside and solid as a rock----We Love It ....and think we made a wise choice. Doing our part to conserve gas and our wallets. PJRACER

Diesel fuel here is $2.49 a gallon and the fuel I got in Va. is about gone. We are going to Florida in a few weeks and I am going to buy enough to get me to South Carolina.
