Now we're "retired" RVers

Sorry to say, our RVing career is over. We sold our Class A yesterday (for a lot less than we thought we'd get!).

We really enjoyed the lifestyle, but diminishing mobility as a function of age, combined with the much higher cost for gas an CG fees finally got through to us. I'm still interested and will stay on with this forum, but probably not visiting as frequently.

I've changed my sig to fit the new realities.

Frank Damp -Anacortes, WA,(DW- Eileen)
ex-pat Brits (1968) and now ex-RVers, as of 08 Dec 14.

Welcome to the club!!
We full timed for 11 years and snow birded for 1 year. We planned to continue doing the snow bird thing for several more years but last winter in AZ realized that like y'all it was time for us to stop.
The motor home is empty, cleaned up and ready to sell in the spring.

I too have thought limiting our trips to just around the Island and DW is cool with that but we have a lot of relatives to visit all across both countries. I know the day will come but hopefully it will be a few years away.
