Has anyone baked bread in one of these ovens and if so how did that work. I am on a gluten free diet and we bake all our own breads and such.

You should search "NuWave oven bread" on YouTube.com.

Girlfriend and I used the NuWave with her newly purchased RV (2002 Carri-go Dynamax) over the weekend. Brats came out great.

Thumbs up

Cooked some wings on Friday. Uncooked (not the precooked) wings from frozen in the Nuwave. 15 min each side and adding Sweet Baby Rays Buffalo sauce at the beginning and when u turn them over after 15 minutes. Superb!

Goreds2 touched on the one thing we do not like about our NuWave oven. You have to stop it and turn the roast, or whatever you are cooking over. None of their advertising mentions that.
Otherwise we prefer to use this oven for cooking most foods - except pizza. How the heck do you turn over a pizza when halfway done? That's what the instructions say to do, but don't say how.

For frozen pizza, try turning it upside down and cook for about 3 minutes. Then, turn it right side up and cook for about 12 more minutes. Your results may vary.

I don't see how to keep the toppings from falling off as it thaws unless I sandwich it between to pizza pans to turn over.
Guess I'll buy a cheapie from the grocery and try it. It it doesn't work the local raccoon's will have a warm meal that night.

We use our Nuwave Oven a lot for a variety of foods. Turning the food half way thru the cooking process is not an issue for us.

Here is a whole chicken we had for a Xmas dinner in Casa Grande, AZ. which as you see turned out tender, juicy and delicious.

So how do you turn a pizza?
I've cooked roasts, turkey breast, chicken, tenderloin roast, and steaks with ease, but turning a half-baked pizza is different.
