We have a request from the show for someone in NY. area for a make over of an older coach interior, if anyone is interested please let them know.
They will monitor forum.

Hi there,

I actually work for a nationally syndicated TV show called the Nate Berkus Show (www.thenateshow.com) but wanted to reach out concerning a potential RV make-over we are doing. If you are not familiar with Nate, he was previously Oprah Winfrey's design expert on her show. His show recently started last September.

We are looking to do an RV make-over on a deserving RV-owning couple or family. We are trying to find candidates that live near New York City (or relatively close) so the drive to our studio will not be too difficult. Candidates should have an older RV model that is in NEED of an upgrade, particularly the interior. The people should be fun and energetic to share their story as well as be on television. The RV does not need to be their primary residence although that would be preferable.

Thanks and please let me know if you have any questions. I'm trying to book this segment by tomorrow 4/21 so please let me know your thoughts ASAP. I'll be in the office for another hour or so (EST). Thanks again!

Best,

Jonathan San

Too bad I don't live in NY. But I also need a vacation from work; I could drive up! Sure would like to be considered.

Mike do not know right now when it would be but suggested show in fall.
They would probably want to see it and decide with you what they would create for the interior redo.
Good luck if your picked you would make a good choice.

Hi everyone! I have a 1973 Dodge Titan that I'll toss in the ring for consideration. I am the 2nd owner of this classic beauty. Its ALL original and only has around 45K miles - but as the pictures will show it needs a good bath and some TLC bringing her back to life. My grandfather was the original owner and his health has declined over the past few years (he's still with us but my grandmother passed several years ago). He's a WWII vet from the pacific who afterwards became a commercial airline pilot who loved touring the east coast during the downtime. I have fond memories of camping in it at chincoteague island when we were young (both of the titan and the mosquitos!) -our goal is to get the beast back on the road and enjoying it.

The inside has ALL of the original pieces and they are in surprisingly great shape for its age. When i say original.. i am including the orginal shag green carpet, period cb radio AND... it even has the original black and white tube TV in the back!! It'll come on.. you just have to let it warm up.

Its in Northern Virgina (so close to NY) and available for such a treat like this!!

Even if its not selected.. you can expect to hear from me on the boards. We are in the process of working out the brakes (its been sitting for 5 years and is leaking a little fluid) and then its time for new tires. The ole' 440 motor started right up and sounds great.

Here are a few pictures from last weekend and what i'd consider the start of our resto project.

-John
