I read the article and was amused by the discovery of this hip writer that RV'n was a fun thing to do.
I got even more amused by the comments about the article by the folks who hadn't a clue about the RV lifestyle. Many just don't get it and wouldn't be found dead using an RV
. Some thought RV'rs were isolated from the world in their RVs (no really)
. Many expressed concern about fuel costs and overall costs and compared them to costs of using a motel, like I said they don't get it. I think some of these folks only have seen nature in central park NYC.
Perception is everything these days so to some folks deep in the cement canyons of our largest cities think we are some sort of wandering spendthrifts hidden in our expensive and fuel inefficient RVs. Somehow what they think just doesn't bother me
I'll keep on doing what I have been doing as long as I can do it.
