Hi Arch. Wholesale is $7.85 a quart for the 5w20, 5w30 Dexos 1, and 10w30, less per quart when you buy a case of 12. $30.65 a gallon, less per gallon for a case of 4. The 15,000 mile V10 oil filter is $13.15. Contact me to get wholesale.

That is why I recommended AMSOIL's warranted 15,000 mile up to 1 year oil and filter for your 4,000 mile plus trip. And comparable AMSOIL at wholesale will cost less than Mobil 1 at Walmart, and definitely less per mile with their 15,000 mile oil which would be 5 Mobil 1 oil changes for warranty.
Standard oil change interval is 7,500 miles..

Not for V10 Class A and C motorhomes. 3,000 miles per owners manual.

What's the difference between 5,000 miles "normal" and 3,000 mile "special conditions"? Probably includes towing or motorhome use?

Here is Ford's latest recommendations https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenan...ntSchedule.asp

2007 Ford F-550
Driving Condition: Towing
Series: Super Duty
Drivetrain: RWD
Fuel: Gasoline
Engine Displacement: 6.8 L
Recommended maintenance for your vehicle

EVERY
3,000
MILES Change engine oil and replace oil filter (See Owners manual for time based oil change intervals)
Perform multi-point inspection
Rotate and inspect tires; check wheel end play and turning noise

Thanks Cliff. So for camper use it is 3,000 miles or 3 months, whichever occurs first, change oil and replace filter? It's kind of hard to read.

That's not the way I read it for my MH. If you drive in dusty conditions or use to tow a trailer( I guess this is for a p/u towing a 5th wheel or trailer). I have confirmed my schedule with Ford to be 5000.

Happy with the Mobil-1 5w/30 FS oil, and insofar as our coach has been out of warranty for 9 years I change oil & filter between 5 & 7k miles.

If the Amsoil product was conveniently available at auto parts stores, Walmarts, K-marts etc and comparably priced, I might consider trying some, however until then will keep using the Mobil-1

Happy & safe travels to all...

Hundreds of AMSOIL, NGK, WIX, Mann, Donaldson, Trico products, and Mother's are available at the AMSOIL Las Vegas warehouse for comparable and lower prices. As low as $4.44 a quart wholesale for full synthetic. I change oil and filter at 15,000 severe service miles up to 1 year all during the warranty period (even though Ford recommends 3,000 miles), saving time and money. Used Oil Analysis confirmed the oil was good for continued use. And available at thousands of auto parts stores. And at any shipping address in the US and Canada.

Contact me for wholesale pricing. I can also arrange for pickup at the warehouse.
