Who provides good coverage (wouldn't mind agreed value for the first couple years to prevent depreciation on a new trailer)?

We bought gap protection when we financed it, and 7 year bumper to bumper repairs.

We still need the liability etc needed to have it on the roads.

I need to have the trailer covered before I drive it off the lot later this week.

I'm insured with State Farm. Competitive rates and they treated me great on a stolen motorcycle claim years ago.

Be sure to do your research, Good Sam insurance is actually underwritten by Blue Sky, last I heard. Searching for Good Sam insurance might not show you the real story that searching on Blue Sky would.

Not sure if I want to insure my trailer home with auto insurance. Might be able to for the first 7 years though, because we bought the bumper to bumper repair warranty.

That is kinda what I am wondering about...

We went with our auto insurer when we had our TT and found that most auto insurers have policies that work quite well for TT's. For simplicity of dealing with only one company for accident claims I thought it was a good way to go. You already have bumper to bumper for other problems so all you should need may be liability. Be sure you understand your B to B policy to know if it covers accidents as well or just manufacturing defects.

I would check with your auto insurance company. We did and placed our home, 2 autos and motor home with the same company. The total savings from any company that we investigated was more than $600 and then we got a check for the reduction on our home owners for $67. A local independent agent may be able to get you the best rates and providers.

National General/Good SAMs is very good insurance and have taken care of us with the two claims we had in the past. They have competitive rates and good coverage!

We have ours covered through our auto insurance carrier.

I have mine insured with Safeco, for replacement value - I needed replacement value for the credit union's financing - after paying it off, I just kept the insurance...I also have my home, truck, car and 2 motorcycles with them.

National General/ Good Sam is the company we switched from and save more than $600.

Well, I added it to my Geico, and only added $25 per month to my bill. I think it is because we told them we would only use it 2-3 weeks out of the year. They asked if we would spend more than 30 days in it during the year and we said no, so that must be where the price goes up.

The rest of the time it will be parked near our house. So relatively low risk.
