It's called a "hose guide ring"

They are not the most stout piece of equipment in the typlical RV bath...I removed the one I had and filled the holes. But, it does keep the hose from swinging on the road.

Thank you!! I saw those online but they don't look exactly like the junk that is in our shower. (OK, I'll admit that I use that thing as a bracket to hold the showerhead lower; I'm a shorty.  ) Now I need to measure the distance between the holes and hope for the best. I appreciate the help!

Sarah,
While ordering shower parts, why not add a second wall mounted shower head support. That way you can mount yours at your height and hubby can have the other. Or splurge for an adjustable model and everyone can be wet where they want.

Believe it or not, it functions as a anti-siphon device by stopping the shower head to dip into any water in the tub. I took ours out.

It's a whatsits. I took ours out and just lay our Oxygenics on a wash cloth on the floor when traveling.

It's a shower head whach a ma call it. It's just a small one probably costing a mere 74.99 at any shop. Labor extra.
