Well call me stupid but I never knew what that heat strip setting was for on my T-stat. I thought that it was for some option that I didn't have. My good friend Tom educated me on how to use it. The AC's work also as a heater and are a lot quieter than the furnace thanks Tom for enlightening this idiot.

The day you get out of bed and don't learn something new is the day you should have stayed in bed.

I too am of the "It's a good day when I learn something new" school.

That's why I tend to help folks here... IN researching their problems,, I learn.

Came in handy last week... You see, in researching problems for others... I found the knowledge to help a friend.

It sounds like you have a Dometic system. If a function shows up on the Comfort Control Center (thermostat) then it's installed. The CCC typically doesn't show the stuff that's not installed.
