Managed to score some $2.89 Diesel on I-5 at a Shell station new years eve. Currently on a 612 mile run. By the time I arrive in Q I should be mostly full of $2.99 Diesel..

I paid $2.29 for D2 at a Safeway gas station in Albany Oregon last week. I had to look twice and even double checked my receipt. No club card perks, just their straight up price. Diesel stores a lot better than gas does so I'm going to set a little aside for a rainy day. I suspect the prices will go up again and the gov is busy raising taxes while the prices are low, they think we're too stupid to notice....

Paid $1.93 got diesel today. Got it at "Buc-ees" I-35 exit 191 in New Braunfils, Tx. Regular unleaded was $1.94. First time in about 10 years we found diesel cheaper than regular.

Diesel was less than regular way back when we bought our Chevy Duramax to tow our 5er. Prices started climbing that week, and never went down, until we bought a 2002 HR Imperial/Cummins ISL370, and started dropping that week, and so far, still falling.

Gotta put some miles on before the bubble bursts.

Oh, by the way, $1.93 was at least a dollar lower than anywhere else within 100 miles. Don't know why, but works for me.

my cousin is Tom Kloza and he recently stated that prices will be down but feels this is the month of the lowest or bottom price.

If you have and use the Gas Buddy, you should update that diesel price, as it's showing 2.31 for that location.

Well, I really didn't say diesel was $1.93 a gallon, I said I paid $1.93 for diesel. AND, the following morning, (today, Jan 4, 2015) it was still $1.93. But, as of 9:00 same date, the price was $2.30. What that proves, I do not know.

Not sure I will see diesel selling for under $2.00 again, but it was fun while it lasted. I just hope you didn't drive all the way to New Braunfels to get diesel.
