No heat releif in NC Mtns of Asheville while visiting Biltmore last week. 98 degrees, no breeze and high humidity. This summer has been a struggle with heat. Our radiator split on 2008 Ford 450/Jayco Melbourne and had to stay over. Don't know if heat or hills caused seam split, but shop said very common.

Spring didn't arrive here till 3rd week in July, we had 5 weeks of near summer weather then fall started , cooler days but no rain yet.
Don't wish those hot days away just yet, we'll be there to enjoy them soon.

Yep caps....
the temp drop is why we got 7" of rain over the weekend near Burleson (according to MY rain gauge !) maybe also why the 5er's tires psi dropped so much....

need to ait them up before we leave on Friday for a week - woohoo !!!!

Got into the upper 90's here today. We went 65 miles north of here this past weekend to a car show and the A/C the Vista 26P struggled to keep it down to bearable and we were in the shade most of the day and have the insulation foil on most of the windows. The wife and I have decided that we want to try to become "sand birds" next year and if it turns out to be like this year, that could mean leaving out of here as early as the first of April and not coming back until mid October. At that amount of time, makes me wonder if we should go back to full time.
