It is my opinion that opinions are opinions and in all fairness, in my opinion, we should take all opinions, stack them them up, divide the opinions by the total of the opinions in the stack and voilą, we have an average opinion, in my opinion.
Just my humble opinion.

Speaking of opinions, I am new to the RV world, will take possession of a 5th wheel 1st of October. Good Sam Extended Service Plan or Extended Warranty. Extended Warranty dealer wants $4500 for 7 years up front. Service Plan you can get on your own is only $2500 for 6 years and can pay as you go. Any Opinions?

What really gets me... someone ask my opinion, then gets upset at it, so I have developed two rules of life about opinions...

#1. If you don't want my opinion, don't ask for it!
#2. If you don't want my opinion, don't give me yours!

Have explained these rules more that once!

You did ask for it!

List the items that cost big $$$ to replace, add the up, figure the odds of how many will break down, multiply by the odds of it being covered! EW's are cash cow for the dealer, and the company providing it!

When I worked for Radio Shack, I refused to sell them!

Worst money I ever spent! And that was after I wrote a college paper on the evils of EWs! Bought one on my '01. No help at all. Didn't need it, or wasn't covered!

YMHO!

Copious threads on extended warranties.....just type it in the google search box on the tool bar, leave it set to IRV2, and I'm sure you'll find a day's worth of reading, maybe more. IMO

i c thanks, still learning.
know of a respectable Onan Parts dealer or store where I can get parts for my 82 Onan 6.5 Gennie.?
I am looking for the rubber tube that goes from the back of the carburetor towards the front I thinks it might be like a breather tube or what is now know as a PCV valve.
In the MPLS Mn area.
Thanks,Tim

Almost any lawn equipment repair and some welding places will have it as it is a generic engine used in lots of things other than generators.

Take old for sample

Although it may not have anything to do with an Original Poster's question.

We ask for OPINIONS wanting to see how many we can get liking a certain product. A lot of people like me would not recommend certain things and if you get enough of bad opinions about a certain product I be danged if I would buy one!
