Looks pretty good so far. Hope all goes well installing the new Cabinets and countertop. You'll have to post an update when it's done.

Will there eventually be some kind of trim that covers the cuts to the front and back of the counter top? At present, there doesn't seem to be.

Yes...I haven't posted the final pictures. The new floor and most of the finishes will be in tomorrow's pictures.
