Question Our Newmar Kountry Star has only certain power

Hi our 1999 30 amp Newmar Kountry Star 33 foot class A motor home is only running with certain power. We plugged into the camp ground and had nothing. After having a Mobile RV tech come out to tell us it maybe a GFI , $145.00 laters and new GFI's still nothing, we however did have the electric hot water heater and two plugs in the kitchen. We took the power cord from the inverter and plugged it into an extension cord and then into the pole box and we were able to get slide outs to work, and a couple lights on top (ac lights worked) and were able to work thermostat and the refrigerator ( that would not turn over to propane cause of the electronics on top of it). So now we have no tv's no power inside compartments and no outlets working except for the two outlets in the kitchen ( one by sink and the other by table). The bedroom located in back of the camper bathroom in middle and the front of the rig nothing is working no power. All fuses and circuit breakers were checked, ( unless there is one on our Onan Generator). We are not sure if the Power Supply by Todd Engineering has gone bad TS-30 or what else it could be. If anyone could help us we would so appreciate it. Thanks............

Your description is a little confusing, but here is my guess. You say that some things work when you unplug from the INVERTER. Your inverter does not supply power to your A/C units, electric water heater and often a couple of plugs in an RV. Everything else passes THRU your inverter, even when it's not being used. My guess would be that you tripped a breaker on your INVERTER. Check it for a circuit breaker, usually an external push button on the side of the inverter.

Welcome PJTW TO IRV2.
Below in my signature are links to information to help you out and you can find other members down in the Newmar forum to help you in follow up questions.
One thing with older coach's it is necessary to check wiring connections in your fuse panels and load centers because over time connections can become loose from road vibrations and heat differences.
Everything in your coach works off 12 volts from your batteries or the charging converter for your batteries.
The AC's, Micro, electric element for fridge and water heater will work when your plugged into shore power.
Here is a Owners Guide for your coach and at the end off link you will see info related to your two electrical systems.
Use this and the QUICK TIPS LINKS below to help get you started any time you work on electric power have shore power disconnected and in your transfer switch there is still power in capacitors so be careful, would not want you to get hurt.

Check the inverted/Converter for two respectable breakers. Sounds like one is titled.

Open your transfer switch and with a volt meter check the power into it from shore power line and the three wires up to your load center, your converter needs the 110 to charge your batteries out of its outlet location.
As I said your batteries or converter will supply the 12v's for all your control boards to operate.
If your transfer switch is not operating, you can bypass the relays and place jumpers from the shore power board connections to load center connections to get the 110 to your converter and any 110 operating appliances.
If your not familiar with electrical systems take coach to a Newmar dealer not just some local that doesn't know your coach.
