Each of our provinces have a "Ministry of Transportation"
Government of Alberta Ministry of Transportation: Contact Us for Alberta

Transportation - Province of British Columbia for BC.

I see they each have a "contact us".

In Ontario overlength is 75 feet, don't know about BC or Alberta.

Do you ever worry about being over length in about half of the states in the US. I'm right at 66' total length and have not ever bothered to get a permit and have never been stopped. I guess I would just plead stupid and see what happens. Google DOT RV Lengths and you'll get several listings of US states and not all agree.

I did get a permit taking the boat thru BC but they never asked to see the permit and no one stopped or checked me along the way. I was right at 75'.

I've been on two RV forums for 8 years and have never heard of anyone getting an over length ticket.

I've seen on the highways tag axle 45' coaches pulling enclosed trailers that were Ginormous.

I think I'd just take my chances. And hey....if you get a ticket then you can come back on here and be a first.

We have friends who were stopped for being over length in Texas last summer. They were ticketed for another infraction but warned they were over length.
