Overflow black tank
Where we winter we don’t have sewer and are pumped out twice each week which makes it kind of tight some weeks.
Wife would like to run washer and take longer showers.
Any ideas besides a blue tote for extra capacity?
Thanks

How far are you from a sewer ? Maybe you can run a Macerator pump with a long hose, otherwise a blue boy

Unless you're able to find enough room for additional black and gray tanks, the blue tote's are about your only bet however there is one other option, change campgrounds to one that has a sewer dump.

With a washer and showers, your grey water tank will fill up 3x quicker than the black tank. Some people have re-plumbed their piping to divert the washer water into the black tank. You could also pail out some gray water from the drain and pour it down the toilet. Some West CG, may even allow you to pail out some grey water to water their outdoor plants, but ask first.

If we stay longer than a week the park has to have full hook ups OR I have to be by myself, meaning the other person in the RV has to run the W/D, Dishwasher, and use 3x as water as me.

Is it possible to request and pay for an additional pump out?

Thanks for most of the responses.
The reason we stay here is because we are on the beach and have been doing it for several years and probably will for several more.
I’m thinking of something we can store here in the summer.
30 to 60 gal. Wondering about building a enclosed box that sits under the coach which could be sucked out.

100 gallon fresh water tank
60 gallon Grey tank
40 gallon Black tank
Once a week pump out service......
Is that pump out service done for ALL on same day OR could you pay extra for twice weekly (Mon& Thurs etc)??
Otherwise.....
Get a 42 gallon waste tote and have it pumped out at same time MH is pumped
Tote is already for use.....no need to reinvent a waste tank

Will they allow a 55 gallon blue or white plastic barrel that can be set up to take overflow when you need to?

Here in the Quartzsite long term visitor areas many of us don’t want to break camp in order to dump the waste tanks and get water. The local hardware store sells recycled 35 and 55 gallon plastic barrels that have been fitted with either a sewer valve or a garden hose fitting. We use them to transport waste and fresh water. They cost about $100 each.some folks transport them in pickups or on small trailers, even carriers on the back of your toad. You might need a macerator and/or fresh water pump
If you don’t like to see them sitting beside your rig throw a camo tarp over them.
