Owners Names on RV's

Sandy just saw a RV with the owner's names under the side windows and wants to add it to ours. Is this fairly common, is it usually painted or decals? Where do you find a service?

Personalizing your RV is a good thing as it makes it less attractive to thieves, however using full names might open you up to security issues. We have the avatar you see to the left as a large part of the custom graphics on our trailer. It is custom made for us by Bad Brush Design near Toledo Ohio. They and other companies like them do this sort of thing easily, letters and designs cut out on vinyl.

Shadow,
Thanks for the suggestions. We are only planning on using first names, so vehicle security is enhanced and identity security isn't a factor.
I've seen the vinyl decal service and wondered how they hold up. How long has yours been on and are they still looking good?

We have vinyl lettering on all our service vehicles. Some for 7 years already. We aren't in the constant heat of the south so I can't say how that would affect it. Although, the vinyl lettering used by these sign shops is different than the decals used by RV manufacturers.

Ours are only five years old, or more correctly half of them are as one side was replaced after an accident that had the trailer on its side (tongue came off of the ball). Bad Brush Design had the design in their computer and were able to replicate exactly and you can't tell a difference. Anything you do to make yours unique makes it less likely to be stolen and easier to recover.
