flaggship1's photo of RV on beach is Goose Island State Park, I believe, not a commercial RV park...

In the photo in previous post the sites are on the water - but not really beach. More a fishing place - at Goose Island State Park where the big 1000+ year old oak is.

If you cross the bay by ferry at Aransas Pass to Port Aransas there are places both on the beach and walk over a dune from the beach - the sites aren't much to look at - dump stations nearby - big place... lots of options - including pay parks with full hook ups and various amenities.

I used to live there and still visit once a year. The water will vary from green to brown depending on weather and currents. Would recommend surf side Rv on 11th st. Their spaces are tight but not as tight as most

There is dry camping on the beach and a state park with hookups behind the dunes at Horace Caldwell pier. You'll find it at the north end of the beach.
