Paint sealant?

Just wondering if anyone has had the sealant applied. Does it crack when it ages? Does it need to be removed? Do you wax it?

There are numerous products that use wording like "paint sealant". Which "paint sealant" are you considering?

In my opinion most of them are snake oil. Any modern synthetic "wax" for vehicles or boats can be termed a "sealant" and use phrases like "molecular bonding to the surface". And any modern finish can easily go 5 years without suffering oxidation or other surface degradation if you use routine care (wash off the road and tree dirt off). Wax your RV with a quality polish from Maguiars, Turtlewax, Starbrite, ProtectAll, etc. and it will be fine.

I was going to try some ceramic coatings on mine, it has the filon siding. but I just replaced the filon on my slide and its a brighter white. i'm seriously thinking about painting the whole thing. repaint the white then paint on some stripes of some kind. I have the ceramic coating on my T/V and its great. its been on over 2 years I just wash and let it dry NO water spots. it looks like new.

Paint is already sealed so what would you be additionally sealing it from ?
