This is not a park where you put pink flamingos out and decorate out side with colorful lights, or do you see people walking little bitty dogs around asking if there will be bingo tonight nor will the host and hostess be bringing you cookies when you check in. This is a rough area of town with a lot of questionable people walking around. I go next door to this park when I have my coach washed or the diesel happens to be cheaper at the T A Travel Center. One of the great pastimes in Oklahoma seems to be stealing copper wire from anywhere they can, even from the street lights down the center of the turnpike!!(also the rate of electrocution is high) Not pining anything on the OP but sure he is not the first one that has been asked to leave. i also have stayed at this park. the owner is a different kind of guy. he looks for an argument so he can tell you why you are wrong. and yes, he is a retired detective, or had something to do with law enforcement, as he told me about a dozen times.
i just kept quiet, and made sure i didnt stop there again.
there is a nice cracker barrel off meridian ave that has a large and very quiet parking lot. its a few blocks off the interstate, so its not overcrowded.
there are also other campgrounds in the same area.

There are 2 sides to every coin

If (IF) there is any validity to this story, the CG owner may have had a legitimate reason to not be pleased with someone probing his electrical plug. It doesn't sound like he was very diplomatic in explaining why though. It may have been a fear of liability if someone unknowingly held volt meter probes incorrectly and got shocked trying to insert the probes into the pedestal plug. There is also a possibility someone else tried to do the same thing and somehow damaged the plug to the point the owner had to replace it. Maybe he just didn't like someone questioning his equipment. Who knows?
I have probed plugs before but I do it inside my MH in a 110V. outlet. If the voltage didn't read properly I would disconnect immediately and discuss it with the CG staff. Luckily I have never had this problem.
It's hard to pass judgement when you don't know both sides of the story. I'll remain neutral. (For now)

And what is that topic? Someone messed with part of an electrical system and got escorted out of the place by the cops.

IMO we all have the responsibility to speak up when there is an unsafe condition. In my case because of my navy and power industry experience it is a legal obligation in some cases.

I have often observed that people do not respond well to being spoken to. This is when I walk away unless children are involved. I once went as far as placing two teachers under citizens arrest because they thought the situation was funny. After a short discussion, one teacher asked if I would trust him to do the right thing. I did and it turned out to be a valuable learning experience for both schools.

One thing I have learned is that consensus does not make either right or wrong. Debate is a good thing.
