This is a simple enough question, park radio, does it switch the power for the radio to the house batteries, or simply put power to the radio only from the chassis battery?

I do not know for sure about any other unit....
In my RV the chassis radio in the cab operates only when the ignition switch is in the On/ACC positions.

On the outside of the RV there is an entertainment center.....if you have the auxiliary battery's on it works if they are not on it doesn't work and if the ignition switch is on the outside Radio/CD player does not work same as the 12v television.

So I hope that will clear it up for you a little bit.

Sometimes when you type things out they are clear as a bell in your mind, but I can see that I may have left out something. My unit has a dash switch for "PARK RADIO" so you can listen to the cab radio system without using the ignition key. So my question is where does the radio draw power from when using the PARK RADIO switch?

Now I am jealous....you would think that for what they charge you for the RV to begin with .
They all would come with one of those. I think it works off the house battery's but I don't own a Fleetwood Bounder mine is a Jamboree 26Q.

I went out to my 2008 Bounder model 35H. Turned on the Park radio button, and started the radio.
Then I turned off the breaker to the power converter via the breaker switch.
Then I went to the battery disconnect switch located above the entry door, and disconnected the Main Battery, nothing happened, as far as the radio goes.
Then I disconnected the auxiliary battery and the inside lights went off along with the radio.
Then I re-connected the main battery, and still nothing happened as far as the radio is concerned. But, when I re-connected the aux. battery, the lights came back on, and the radio too.
I hope that answers your question, or at least gives you a way of checking your system.

Mine in my HR runs off the house batteries. When I turn the kill switch off at the door it shuts off the power from the house batteries and the radio turns of as well.

My stereo on the dash is powered by the coach battery. Since the faceplate comes off while it sits and not in use I take the plate off. If I'm hooked up to power I don't worry about the battery going down because of the emergency start button.
