I drove the Ohio Turnpike taking our high school band to Cedar Point today and took note of the designated camping lot at the service plaza. Each parking spot was approximately double width, and would accomodate rigs upto 40'. Here is the blurb from the Ohio Turnpike Commission<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">RV's - Travel Trailers
A wastewater dump station and potable water is available at the Indian Meadow Service Plaza (MP 20.8) between Interchanges 13 and 25 for a $5.00 fee.

The following service plazas offer electrical outlets, a wastewater dump station and potable water for a $15.00 fee:
Wyandot/Blue Heron (MP 76.9) between Interchanges 71 and 81
Middle Ridge/Vermilion Valley between Interchanges 135 and 140
Brady's Leap/Portage between Interchanges 193 and 209

These facilities are open for occupancy between 4:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. the following day. They may be occupied for one night only and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

A separate RV brochure is available at any toll plaza or at the new service plazas. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

I thought that this would be of interest to our travelling RVers as it is convenient, well lit, and is relatively lower priced.

George

I have traveled the Ohio Turnpike and stayed in their parking spots with hookups and it was great for $5. Very secure and well lit.
