Yeah.... "interesting".

Funny that the photo included with the story looks like a fiver instead of a coach.

Yeah, I think so too. I only see single wheels on the axle.

That is definitely a 5er in the photo. Don't you just how well informed and the research that goes into the news. They must have been having a great party in the RV.

The article I read said it was a "1975 Dodge motor home."

What the heck was she doing riding in a towed RV to begin with (let alone be drinking)?!? I tried that once (emphasis on ONCE), when Dave moved our 5-r about 5ft in the driveway & I said I'd just "hang on" because I didn't want to take the time to stop whatever I was cleaning & come out. Can you say "D'Oh!" ?

Some people never learn, you would think @ that age you would know better. They should be glad no one was seriously injured. JMHO.

Many of us will recall from our younger days that as alcohol consumption goes up, common sense goes down.

From Alabama huh ? That's all I'm gonna say...... I do remember hearing about it on our local news, they stated she lost her balance and fell against the entrance door. I think the picture of the 5th wheel may be a "file photo" that was used. I do agree the news media needs to be better informed of what they are writing about. Oh by the way, it is legal to ride in any trailer that has a fifth wheel coupling device.... I did say "legal" not smart !

Stupid is as stupid does.

However, I sympathize with the road rash. Having slid 130 feet on pavement when a jerk pulled out and broadsided my motorcycle while I was traveling at 50 mph, I can attest the the road rash HURTS. (Any one want to see raw pictures?)

They may have used a photo from "Stock" instead of taking a new picture.

Detroit, one of the civic host outfits used to run some "Pub Crawls" where you drove to a "park and ride" type lot and got on a bus and they took you around to all the pubs where you got good and plastered.. One of the drunks forced the back doors open on the bus, on the Lodge freeway about a block from where I happened to be sitting at the time, and got his stupid (As in drunk stupid) body busted to bits (Killed)

That ended the pub crawls.

NOTE: How do you think the drunks got home from the Park & Ride lot?

Right

OH, I was the dispatcher who sent the troopers out to clean up the mess he made.

Just as a side note: We were camped at a campground with a 5'er next to us. There door was across from our bedroom. A party started about 3 pm and went on. We retired about 11 pm and tried to sleep. About 2 am there was a commotion outside our bedroom window. A woman simply walked out the door and didn't take the steps. She was drunk but uninjured. The party continued on.
