We recouped our year's membership inside of three weeks the first year. Recouped the second year's inside of two. Bought a five year membership afterwards.

We bought the life option several years ago and it has paid for itself.

we also purchased the five year plan and recommend it. It pays to first check out if the camp ground you are interested in is still in existence. Using their catalog sometimes has listing of camp grounds that no longer accept Passport America.

If your stay desires are outside the stated PA days or other limitation, ask the CG if they will honor anyway. I have found often they will say ok. Some money is better than no money.

Don't beat yourself up/ I've been an irv2.com member since 2002, still can't use the search feature properly.
Back to regular programming. We've been PPA members for about 5 years now. It has always been a favorable buy for us. Keep in mind each RV park sets their own rules for using PPA 1/2 pricing. It's all in the PPA CG directory or their website.

I don't consider PPA parks destination parks. But they sure are great when traveling and looking for an overnighter.

Passport America is still offering lifetime memberships for $399. I contacted Jennifer to buy one.
Her email is: jennifera@passportamerica.com and you can also reach her at 800-681-6810

I'm really thinking about just getting the lifetime membership. I have never had this before, but they have been operating since 1991, and its still family owned, so thats very promising!

If we were younger the lifetime membership would be a no-brainer!

At $399 it only takes 21 to 30 nights at today's campground prices to pay for it.

I got a lifetime when in my 70's and it was paid for a couple years or so ago. And I only travel for 5 months a year.
For my 2015 summer trip my PA savings will be $170.39

Savings 2014 $170.09
Savings 2013 $498.60
