Pay for Workamper listings?

Looks like all good things come to an end. I have never applied for a position that I have seen on the ‘free’ workamper hotline, but I bet a lot of you may have. Well the ‘free’ listings now go bye-bye. Now you must pay to see what ‘might’ be out there. Employers submitting available positions need to realize that this change may mean far fewer applicants seeing their ads. Or maybe not. Of course I understand the business reasons for making this decision, doesn’t mean I have to like them. Just sayin....,

I am not a full timer and enjoyed seeing the type of jobs available. There is no reason for me to pay and now they will also lose me seeing the ads that keep the website running. I think this is a bonehead move but it their call. When their visit numbers drop like a rock their advertising revenue will go also.

Sounds like a great opportunity for someone to begin a new company/website and offer free job postings for campers. History has a way of repeating itself.

There are already forums (one is here & also on the 'other' RV forum) for job information - both paid and volunteer.
