Perry Ga RV show. Is it a good one to go to?

Still researching getting a class A DP. Is the RV show in Perry Ga a good show to go to?

It's not a show, it's a rally for FMCA members. There will be new coaches to tour, and many people to talk to, but as a day tripper, you won't be allowed to attend any seminars. Have a good time getting to know what it's about.

If you are new to the game, Perry will be a great learning experience as all the major manufacturers will exhibit there and you can see all their product in one place.

Ahh ok it is a rally not a show like Tampa, but all the manufacturer's will be there and I assume accessory vendors.

If you're looking for a new RV, this is one great show! All inside, so weather is not a consideration, and hundreds of RV's!

Yup was planning on going to that one also. Went to the North Atlanta one and was not very good. More 5rs then Class A and no accessory vendors unless you wanted gutters for your home

It figures... we couldn't make the Tampa show .. had to go out of town.. we live near Atlanta but now going out town again when this one happens.. sigh. Maybe someday we'll get to say hi to some of you in person and see all those fancy new RVs.

Went to the Atlanta Camping and RV Show today and it was way better then the one earlier this month in North Atlanta RV Show. They had Inside RV Center with Entegra and Newmar coaches and RV World of GA with Tiffin and Freight Liner plus various 5rs and trailers. I have been leaning more towards the Newmar so far, but the Entegra's are impressive.

If you're not in a hurry and can wait til Sept. The RV show in Hershey PA. (9/14-9/18) is a great show. Well worth traveling to.

One thing to consider since it sounds like you live here in GA. Tiffin's are manufactured in Red Bay, AL and they do warranty work there. You can also tour the factory and see how they are made.

Check out the Tiffin RV Network for more information.

I suggest that since you are so close, you should go to the Fmca rally in Perry. It is normally a big rally with manufacturers bringing a good variety of units for sale and review. You can purchase day passes for not much. Only thing you can't do is attend some seminars but that isn't such a big deal. If you're in the market, it would be a shame to miss it since it's practically in your backyard.

It is not just a rally for FMCA members. Anyone can sign up and go, even if you own a towable.

My suggestion is to sign up for the rally and spend the whole time there. Reason being is that you will not be able to see every brand of coach in one day. Seminars are great and the night entertainment will be good also.

At this rally, there will also be a driving class at additional cost before the rally just in case your other half wants some professional instruction. The driving portion will be done with your coach

Can you signup without being a member? I do not have an RV.
