Personalized camp sign hanger
Our kids gave us a beautiful personalized cedar camp sign. I'm looking for some ideas on how to hang/display it at our campsites. I'm assuming most parks don't want you putting any kind of a pole in the ground. I was thinking of hanging it on the front of the camper (5th wheel) but haven't figured that out yet. So what's working for you?
Thank you,
Kim

As an alternative to a sign holder in the ground (most campgrounds don't care if you put a sign holder in the ground) Try a piece of Velcro on the nose of your trailer. I've seen this done at many parks. Here's a link to a company that sells the metal holder if that's the route you want to take. https://www.vistaprint.com/cms/search?q=rv+sign+stands

A picture of what you have would help.

If you have access to a conduit bender, you can bend one quite easily.
I bought a 10 foot length of 1/2" conduit($3-4), cut it in half. I then made a 90 degree bend on each length. Next, I laid it on the floor put the sign in the middle and cut each top piece to a length I thought was about right.
The sign has a couple small screw eyes, some decorative chain and two small eye bolts on the conduit end. I drilled two holes in the conduit and bolted the sign in place using wing nuts for easy assembly/disassembly.
The two pieces of conduit is joined with a conduit coupling. I also added another piece of chain, screw eyed to the sign, looped on one conduit leg to keep the sign from flapping in the wind.
To hold it upright, I used a couple 1 foot pieces of 1/2" rebar which I drive in the ground a few inches then lock the sign in place on the rebar with a couple more conduit couplings. The rebar can be sharpened a bit with a file or grinder.
My total cost for this sign hanger was about ten bucks, with everything from Home Depot and time to make, less then an hour. We display ours under the front end of the 5er, mostly out of the weather. We have had many compliments on the sign but unfortunately, I've neglected taking photos

We hang our sign on the FW pin box. I used a couple of screw eyelets on each top of the board and tied a string to them.

This is what we used to do when pulling a 5er!

I take a Texas flag all over with me. Nobody has ever cared about it being planted in the ground.

We picked this sign holder up at a local festival a couple of years ago. The vertical and horizontal parts come apart for easy transport.

Any campgrounds we visited didn't care if we put out a sign on a post. This is ours. Positioned they eyelet screws to match the hanger hooks. I have a solar spot light I place on the ground in front of it to light it at night. It's been with us from TT to 5-r to coach....nearly 20 years.
It easily could've hung from a chain on the pin box of our 5-r. I've also seen people hang them from their awnings.

We have a personalized garden flag that I made a holder for out of PVC pipe. I use pipe clamps to mount it on the tongue jack.
But I will be having something like this made when we start full timing!

We have a class C and hang ours from the bar that holds the side mirror. When we had a TT, we added a couple of small hooks to the front of the propane cover.
