My kids are teasing your campground dog???
Not to worry... At some point your dog's poop will end up on my kid's shoes, and thus in get tracked into my camper tonight.

It's poetic justice, its just that I would like to be out of the loop on that one.

He's loaded and reporting for duty!

Having brought this up before but having a Westie and taking her walking each morning in public areas I have made two distinct observations the past few years

1) The larger the dog the less likely the owners will pickup after it

2) the younger the owners the less likely they will pickup after it

I have noticed the same trend in camp grounds as well

As others noted on the trails owners forget other people and pets might actually use it

That has already gotten many trails closed to dogs simply due to lazy people

I find this to be a disturbing trend that the majority of demonstrators and activists in this country are literally the ones NOT holding the bag

110% agreed on items 1 & 2.

In today’s society it is politically incorrect to categorize people for any reason but here goes...
Show me an older couple with a small breed dog in an upscale RV, and I’ll show you clean, quiet, polite pet owners.

Old man standing on his lawn shouting at clouds.

You need a hobby.

Perhaps what I really need is a pet dog to go camping with.

Thanks for seeing the humor in this “poop thread” and not taking anything to awful serious.

OMG! That looks almost like a photo of me holding big dog Mo but wait...I can't pick him up anymore, too heavy at 92lbs but if I could...

I have found that owners with the smallest dogs always leave the poop while us big dog owners are meticulous. Seriously, it is bad manners and illegal to leave it on the ground in most places.

I like what some apartments do. They allow pets under spec and fee but take a DNA test. If Poop is found on premise anywhere they do a DNA test and the offender gets a whopper of a fine. Love that approach but alas our Nat Parks and St Parks don't have that luxury - the offender is gone and it costs far too much to impose the fine.

I don't know. More times than not, the poop I see left on the ground is small breed and I regularly see small breed dog owners, including older, who walk their dogs with no visible bags and see them simply walk away after their dogs go.

It's like the small breed owners think because it's small poop, it's ok to leave.

This is drifting off the topic but I didn’t realize class-A pusher types did ‘big’ dogs.
I may not be good at scatology but I thought I knew RV park demographics pretty well.

... or they try to kick a few pieces of gravel over it. That doesn't help when a person would walk over that gravel. Pick it up please no matter how small.

Well, I know some don't consider any poodle a big dog, but I have two standard poodles. What I can say with certainty, whether you consider it a big dog or not, it has big poop.

So, at the very least this DP guy travels with some big poop producing mammals...

Exactly. Sucks to be forced to spend as much time trying to avoid some other guys poop, as I spend watching my dogs, especially at night.
