I haven't seen anything lately about the Frequent Fueler Advantage card fiasco at Pilot. Have they finally got it straightened out?

Are ya'll talking about the RV pumps or the truck pumps? The truck pumps is where the problem is.

A little call to 911 will put that ill mannered trucker to rights.

Hi cannon man,
Comparing problems I've had with truckers at the truck pumps vs RVers (+ general public) at the RV pumps, I'll take the truck pumps any day. While our experiences may be different, when at the J, RVers are much, much worse than OTR drivers.

The general public is much worse than anyone. When I pull in at a row of pumps I have to block several of them to get gas. Even though there might be 20 vacant pumps, you should see the looks I get. I had to call the police one time because some guy would not let me get to the pump, said he had a credit on the pump. I have come to a conclusion a long time ago that the majority of the public are idiots.

I will second GaryKD on truckers versus RVers at the pumps. To answer the question on using the card, I have only used my at the RV pumps.

I have used the truck pumps exclusively and have never had a problem.

Idiots at the fuel pumps? They'll never match to idiots at a boat launch ramp.

How about a busy weekend day, people in line both on land and in the water, and this guy pulls his small sail boat onto his trailer. Rather than pulling the trailer off the ramp, he starts to take down his rigging right there on the ramp, blocking everyone.

This is why I don't have a carry permit - it would be just too tempting.

Ditto here. I have never had a trucker get nasty. In fact, on several occasions, they have complimented us on our RV and said...."Someday"...

Yes, we got the pump start feature turned on. We always use the truck lanes and have never had any problems with truckers.

Pilot has dropped the 500 gallon minimum for RVers but it still applies for truckers. They got a lot of complaints from RVers because we don't buy as much fuel as the trucks and it would take some tome to reach the 500 gallon minimum before turning on the pump start feature.
