Planning our first adventure

WOW! Is all I can say this afternoon. My wife and I had a great time on our maiden voyage we can't wait to plan our first adventure. Of course it's wintertime, well fall so our trip will be to the south.

We're looking for RVing ideas for the southwest, we live in Southern Nevada, so Vegas is out. Any suggestions/ideas will be appreciated.

We've been married for 32 years and have taken only two vacations in our married life...we are workaholics that devoted life to our business and career...not a choice I would recommend. Anyway...since we got our Bounder 33 it is vacation mode as often as possible, we're hoping to travel at least two months in the next twelve and hopefully go out 3-4 months in 2014.

With all that said... Susan and I just don't know where to go in an RV

The nice thing about RVing is " you can go any damn place you choose" There is so much to see in this beautiful country.

A great place to visit not far from you is Organ Pipe National Park. Stayed there a couple of years ago. Very nice park, wonderful sites for the RV, great things to see.

while Vegas itself is out, have you spent some quality time in all the state parks and such around the city?

There are many beautiful places within an hours drive of sin city.

Take a road going north one trip, one going south another trip, one going east.....you get the idea. There are wonderful places to visit all around us.

Personally, we do not like to over plan our adventures. There are usually neat things to see and do in between.

2008 Jeep Rubicon or 2012 Ford F150 4x4 Lariat towds
or a couple of different trailers
