Just registered on IRV2.com. Currently in the process of searching for the right RV. Wondering if IRV2.com also has plans to Enter Europe as the number of Rv's grows quite rapidly over here. The manufacturers mostly differ from what you have in the US.
Just curious to hear from anyone of you, if setting up a European part of IRV2.com is possible The content of the current IRV2 site really looks good. We do not have a site like this over here.
Regards, Ruud de Haas (Netherlands, Eruope)

If you read the forum regularly, you'll see posts from people in many different places in Europe, Scandinavia, the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand.
Feel free to join in anytime. There may not be many posts specific to non-US manufacturers because the vast majority of us are US residents or own RVs of US manufacture. If you spread the word among your RVing friends, that will change over time.

Thanks for your replies. With my wife I will visit RV exhibition in two weeks. Then we will make up our minds which RV to buy. Really exiting times.

Goedemiddag Meneer Ruud de Haas,
Just a hello and welcome to the forum. I've had the pleasure of living in the Netherlands for a while. I was stationed at Camp New Amsterdam, Soesterberg Air Base in the mid '70. Spent a couple of years living on Oude Utrechtseweg in Soest, NL. I'll wish you the best in your RV search.

We have a number of folks that visit here from Europe, New Zealand and Australia. We have some folks visiting the US that are from Denmark...screen name is The Dames are Coming. The keep a motorhome here and tour often.
Look them up in the members and send them a PM (private message).

Care to take another crack at that one before it's morning in Denmark, Ken?

Thanks very much for your kind words. The Dutch words you used are quite ok :-). I myself was in the army also based in Soesterberg. That army base is closed now. It is some time ago though. Regards Ruud de Haas

Hello, Ruud
I'd never heard of the "Hymer" brand so I looked it up.
What beautiful rigs!
I don't think there's anything like them being made here in the U.S.A....
HYMER :: Caravan and Motorhomes manufacturers - HYMER.com - EN
There's not a whole lot of information out there in English, though...
What can you as a potential buyer tell us about this very interesting motorhome?
Are you thinking of a certain model, and if so, why?
Thanks!
Francesca

This brochure will give you some pretty good looks at some quality built small B size motor homes.
A good European look.
Welcome to irv2.
