PLEASE! Be Careful Out There.

One RVer's camping plans were ended Friday afternoon when their TV & TT overturned and went over a hillside on the PA Turnpike.

This news article doesn't say, but another one I read said that six people were injured.

A good reminder to us all to slow down and get there safe. I am always amazed at how many people are in a rush to relax.

There should be a law requiring dual cam hitches with travel trailers. Every travel trailer that I see on the highway wants to wiggle like a happy puppy. One day a travel trailer passed me at a good speed and had no happy puppy wiggle to it. I was curious so I caught up to and noticed the dual cam system. Hensley is the most expensive but there are knock offs.

People like to cram 3 weeks of adventure into a 2 week time slot don't you know, this leads to a TV commercial "Gotta Go, Gotta Go, Gotta Go RIGHT NOW!" for a product I can't even (nor do I wish to) recall the name of that had nothing to do with travel.

The key to a successful vacation is to cram 10 days of vacation into a 2 week (14 day) time slot.. That leaves you time to slow down and smell the roses as it were.

The RV life style is not about getting there first.

One thing to remember (For those folks who seem to think speed limits do not apply to them)

We are all going to our funeral.. If you are in a hurry. So be it, I plan on taking my time... I want to be as late as possible for that event at which the guest of honor is always "LATE".
Home is where I park it!

The minute I climb behind the wheel of my motorhome I begin to adopt a slower pace. It's part of the fun. We leave the "rush" at home.
