Please help Identify

Can someone tell me what they have hooked up to their water connection hose (white container/tank with handles)?

We hook up a water filter to our incoming fresh water supply and are currently thinking of adding a softener as well.

Was curious if this happened to be both in one unit but simply unsure.

It looks to have a gauge of some kind on the connection side before the tank too.

Thanks!

Welcome to iRV2.

If you can get closer there's writing on the side or ; they're fellow RVers; , you could walk right up and ask . Chances are they've answered the question before.

Looks like a water softener made by Water Stik. I have one but didn't put the handle/straps on mine.

I was thinking the same thing but if you look at the picture from a distance, the coach besides theirs has the same hookup device. (unless they travel together or know each other....lol)

Took the picture when I saw the rain storm coming across the Lake in Livingston, Texas.

OK Joe, I'll bite. How does one make a water softener at home? And I'll bet that's what it is.
