We have the "Euro" style swivel recliners in the MH and my DW does not like them. We have the traditional style swivel rocker/recliners in the 5th wheel which we have not sold. I was going to take those out of the 5er and put them in the MH but found that it was impossible to get them out the door of the 5er without disassembling them. They were either put in the 5er before the kitchen cabinets were installed, OR the recliners were assembled in the 5er. To disassemble them would require upholstery work that I won't attempt to do.

The way I figure it is that I have two choices. I can hire an upholstery shop to come and disassemble them, move them to the MH, then re-assemble them. OR I can buy new recliners for the MH!

I think I have seen posts where folks used residential type recliners in RVs instead of the the ones made specifically for RVs. LazyBoy comes to mind. It seems to me the main problem is size. The recliners that she likes in the 5er are 34" wide at the widest point. The recliners in the MH are only 29" wide. There is a fold-down table between them and I could not use anything wider and still use the table. We can fold the table back against the wall and use some in the range of 35" wide. I would really like to keep the use of the table but I gotta get her happy!

Can anyone give me some suggestions on what you have used, including brands and model numbers if possible? I really appreciate any suggestions you may have!

Take your tape measure and go to a lazyboy store and start measureing. Personally i like my euro recliners. Comfortable, light weight and easy to move around for cleaning. But to each their own. You could also look online for flexsteel furniture. They make a lot of RV specific furniture.

Size was also our issue. We removed the old jacknife sofa because it was not comfortable as a sofa or bed. We spent much time looking on the web and eventually went shopping furniture stores armed with a tape measure.
We measured the space it was to go in and also the size of the door (it has to fit through the door). Most recliners have an easily removable backrest.
There was no way we could get 2 recliners in that space so had settled on a love seat.
First stop was Rooms-to-Go and found this: Verano Khaki Blended Leather Reclining Loveseat - Leather Loveseats
Measured it to be sure it would fit, had detachable backrest and did not require too much space behind to recline. Measured the height at the armrests to ensure it would fit through the door.
Confirmed that they would deliver to an RV in our driveway.
The delivery guys were intrigued as it was their first RV delivery but it had to be easier for them than carrying up stairs.
Looks great and is much more comfy than the old one. Not an exact match to the other furniture but close enough.

I forgot to mention. The main reason she does not like the Euro recliners is lack of lumbar support.

Anything we get MUST have good lumbar support!

Here's a pic of Ekornes chairs we installed on our old coach. I believe they come in three different widths, as well as many colors. Also have optional tray tables. Lifestyles furniture has an online presence and great service to anywhere.

I agree on the Ekornes. Great lumbar support and the most comfortable chair I ever owned.

I put one in the MH and when I sold the MH, I kept the chair. It's the Consul model and I'm sitting in it now.

Hey folks. Never mind! I have figured out a way to dis-assemble the chairs in the 5er!

After looking at prices on the recliners available I decided to take another look at moving them. I believe I have figured out how to do it, but if I get in a bind I will call the upholstery shop to bail me out. Even if I have to do that it will be a LOT less money than replacing them!

When we changed ours, we looked at Many Types and finally settled on the Lazyboys because of size. The Euros were nice but what to do with the ottoman was a problem. Love our new lazyboys.
