Please Pray for Us

I retired in March of this year behind an on-duty back injury. I came home a few years earlier than I had originally planned, but I thought what the hey, that means my wife and I can hit the road even earlier. My new and improved retirement plan was to bring her home from work next year and then hit the road for 2-3 months at a time. Both of us have had demanding careers, so we have never been able to travel very far from home in any of our RV's, due to time constraints.

My wife became ill last month. She has had two major surgeries and has been in two different hospitals, with no assurance of when she'll be able to come home. Her recovery after that will take months. Not only is my heart broken that the love of my life is suffering, but now I am wondering if her life after hospitals will allow us to do the extended travel that we have both worked so hard for, all of these years.

Please pray for my wife Olga. She is only 51 and she has so much life ahead of her!

Thanks and God bless.

Craig

So sorry to hear this Craig. Sometimes life deals us cruel blows at the worst time possible.

Hang in there and just focus on being at Olga's side. The rest will take care of itself in time.

Thoughts and prayers are with you both.

Rick

While I do not know you personally, that does not matter because God does. Not only does He know you, but He know your situation. Prayer works! I believe that now and will always. You and your wife will be in my prayers. May your wife have a full and speedy recovery and you both get to enjoy the life you had planned.

We do understand. Had to retire five years ago because of a second heart attack and a second bypass and I know that it was the Prayers of family and friends that got me through. You have our Prayers for her healing and your trials.

After reading your post, I said a prayer immediately for you and your wife Olga. May God in his mercy be with you both.

Like so many others I know the power of prayer first hand. You both are in our prayers now. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

I too know the power of prayer and send for you and Olga. In the last 2 years, my military daughter has gone through stage 4 breast cancer and 2 failed back fusions. My other daughter's husband is currently on a mechanical heart waiting for a transplant (all aforementioned are 42 and under). Lastly, my 4 yr old dog was diagnosed with an incureable medical condition. All are doing much better than Doctor's prognosis - prayers DO work. Life will get better.

As you look to God and believe, He will make a way when there seems to be no way....He will make a way, just for you and Olga. I'm praying for you as I type.
