Hi everyone,

I saw an add in Highway's magazine about a product called Poli Glow. Here's the link to their website.

They have several different products, but the one I'm most interested in is the Poli Glow itself. It's a water based acrylic coating material for fiberglass. I'm curious if anyone has tried their products and what you thought of the results.

Blue Coral used to have a product called "One Step, Touchless, Instant restoration coating". I used it several years ago and it worked pretty well. I used it on an old car and the painted surfaces of an above ground pool when we lived in California. The Poli Glow sounds very similar, but I'm curious if anyone has experience with the product. Buffing out a 33' motorhome is a bit much work. Ours isn't terribly oxidized, but it's a little dull. It's a 2005.

Just finished putting a coat of ZEP on my 5ver. It was pretty oxidized and came out great. Zep is the same as Polyglo but it's less expensive and found at Home Depot. Red Max can be found at Lowe's. Both have about 25% poly in a suspension. Make sure it's all squeaky clean before applying the sealer.

Thanks Senior Chief. Looks like everyone agrees that the prep work is the most important part. I have to agree, but that's the case with a lot of things in life. I've always said, Take care of the little details and the big details will take care of themself.

By the way. Thanks for your service! I retired in 96 after 20 years active Army.
