I never thought to take a pic of our rig in a parking lot, WalMart's or anyone elses. I do have a few pics of our rigs, past and present taken in campgrounds.

"JJ" doesn't know the road to Walmart, possibly a casino or two.

You folks are makin' me feel like I haven't done it all unless I have spent the night in Wal-Mart!!
FYI, just for curiosity I asked the local Super Wal-Mart here in Northbridge, MA. if they allow overnight RVing. The first girl looked at me like she had no clue to what I was talking about, and the second woman said matter of factly that they don't allow that here!
Wal-Mart has taken a bashing here at times for putting the local mom & pop stores out of business and yet I have noticed that it is the Southern based stores like Wal-Mart and Cracker Barrel who are the ones forthcoming in their hospitality!

I think the second woman was clueless and was just covering her ass and acting like she knew what she was talking about in front of the first girl. She probably didn't even know what an "RV" was.

Come on guys; the topic is to post pictures. We don't need to say anything else. The other Walmart thread has already said it ALL.

A couple of years ago we were in East Texas and run into a string of Walmarts that indeed did NOT allow overnight RV parking. Apparently they were under the same regional management and because of some nasty RVer's that left bags of garbage in place of their RV's when they left. I spoke to the manager of that store, apologized for the 'trailer' folk's actions,... and moved on to Louisiana where (under different management) DID allow RV parking.

Oops, Mike do I have to post 'another' pic of my RV at Walmart now?

Can't post a picture from my iPad. Stayed overnight at the WalMart in Merritt, BC last year on our way to do the Sunshine Coast with our previous coach.

This thread was to post pics @ Walmart. We have Walmart's Parking for discussions on parking at Walmart.

Oops, Sorry again Mike.
When I made the post I was looking at very small pics and was thinking it WAS at Walmart. Clearly, it is NOT.

Looked for a way to delete the post and can't seem to find a button for that.

PS: In the last 10-12 years thinks have sure tightened up around here. Hardly any FUN anymore. I think you should 'lighten up'.

Never would we stay at Wal-Mart overnight. Won't happen in my lifetime.

OK...getting this thread back on topic. Pic of our rig at Walmart in Grand Junction, CO last year. Two Walmarts in that area, but only one allows overnight parking. The Walmart here has nice bits of green and is set a little ways back from the road (so quite quiet). Lovely spot actually!
