We always stay at a Wal-Mart when traveling cross country. There is a web site that has an app and also the GPS coordinates of all the Wal-Marts and Sam's Clubs. It also designates whether they allow overnight parking. When a Wal-Mart does NOT allow overnight parking it is usually due to a local ordinance and not do to the a store policy. Here is the website for those that are interested:

I wish I had taken one where I parked under the Walmart "No overnight parking" sign, next to the two Foretravels, and the 18 wheeler ... will try to remember the next time.

Folks I am not getting pissed this thread is getting off topic. If you don't overnight at Walmart whatever the reason may be good on ya. If you did and have a cool pic of it post it. If you wanna bash people for staying at Walmart then move along there is nothing to see here!

This was our Old Rig after an overnight at WalMart in Merritt BC. We drove as far as I could the night before on our way to the caost. Not knowing where to camp, we spotted others in the parking lot and decided to stay the night.
We enjoy all the amenities of 5 star RV resorts, but it's certainly not above us to make use of this resource.

There's a Wal mart in Merritt now?
I remember when that town was small enough to walk from one end to the other

Yup. It's on the east side of the main highway coming from Kamloops by the Husky truck stop. Also has a Tim Hortons and a Canadian Tire if I remember right.

Last week we stayed in the Walmart in Hinton Alberta, for a few hrs with the coach and a U haul truck.(We are moving to BC.) It was dark so no picture. Merritt may be our new home town. We have stayed in that Walmart several times.
