Post trip clean-up!
Spent several hours today cleaning up the RV after our 5 day car show/RV trip to Pahrump, NV. Haven't been out with the unit since our April trip to a car show in St. George UT. We had a blast. The gig was sponsored by the Vegas Valley Vettes and they put on a great show.

What RV park do you recommend in Pahrump. Headed that way shortly.
Thanks

We liked Terrible's Lakeside - reasonably priced, large sites, and great scenery...

We've stayed in two non-member parks and one, at the time of our visit, membership park so far and find that we like the Pahrump Station RV Park at the Best Western the best by far. It's basically in three sections and is very close to the center of the town. The part closest to the hotel has mostly back in slots, a lot of trees, cable and as the registrar indicated, spotty wifi. The next section where we were parked a good mixture of pull through and back ins, just enough trees and grass to help break up the heat. What they call the upper section is the newest, with only palms for shade, plenty of grass, but no cable or wifi. There is a nice lounge at the office with plenty of seating and plugs to meet your wifi needs. Terrible's Lakeside, which is under new ownership and has changed the name to just Lakeside was a nice looking park, but got tire of the ducks real fast, no wifi, and no cable. It has a nice casino and buffet, but is way to far out of town. I gathered that there are plans in the future to repair the cable problem and possibly add wifi. For what ever reason, but think it was my location within the park, could not get the satellite or local stations to come in. We stayed once at what was Charleston Peak RV Park at the Winery as part of a sales package several years ago and other than the winery and it's restaurant, DW and I were real unimpressed. I think the RV part was owned at that time by Western Horizons Resorts at that time, but I think it is now under new ownership as I saw one of the billboards advertising under the name "Winery RV park". We drove through several other parks including Nevada Treasures. Nice place, lots of amenities, but no wifi and way too far out of town. There are several "ma and pa" parks that appear to be reasonable in addition to two membership resorts, but we've not stayed at any of those so far.
