My motor home queen bed has two gas struts to help raise/lower the bed to access storage. Does anyone know of a powered strut replacement system? My wife would like to be able to press a button and raise/lower the bed access.

We have 2 (one on each side of bed) 12vdc linear actuators. The same thing the custom car people use to lift hoods, open doors, raise truck beds. They can be found in different lengths and weight ratings.
Look on the net for a hot rod supply company.
You can get just a simple raise/lower button or even a remote that can be used as a key fob.
You will have to replace the strut mounts for new actuator mounts and run some 12vdc. (ours draws about 5 amps while rasing the bed).
