Power awning

Anybody know how to get a power awning to retract when switch don't work.

Try pulling the switch and see if there is power, if not check for fuse if so straight wire and bypass the switch if no go it might be the motor.

What is the make/model of the awning.

I have a One-Touch Carefree of Colorado. It does have connections on the motor to bypass the switch or you can do manual retract with drill and allen head driver.
