I am looking to purchase a power jack for the new TT. I have looked at several, but I am leaning toward the Barker VIP 3000. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. I have purchased other (cheaper) brands in the past and had poor luck with them. Has anybody purchased a Barker and what was your experience?

I am also thinking of purchasing a power jack for our trailer. Actually...I want to REPLACE the power jack that came on the new 20010 Flagstaff trailer we purchased 11 months ago. The jack is very loud and seems to strain when I raise the trailer toung and back of our truck while hooking up our Equalizer WD bars. I just do not feel safe while hooking or unhooking the hitch.
That being said, I have desided on the 3500 Baker or Attwood. Either might be considered overkill sized, but with our hitch weight of +- 1000 lb I would feel much safer with the heavy duty jack. I'm going to replace the jack after we get the trailer out of storage next month.
will you need the larger jack for your trailer. Have you found a source for the best price?

Jim

Have it installed and what a nice working unit. Far better quality than the others.
It's quiet and fast and very strong compared to my previous jack.
I am very pleased.
