Power window failure

The power window on driver's side of 1997 Triple E Empress is stuck in the down position. The first time this happened we wiggled the wires and it worked. Now the window is stuck down again. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Electrical diagnostics

The first thing I would do is check your fuses and insure you have juice to the window wiring. Then I would get my multi-meter out and trace backwards from the switch (to start with) and determine where the hot wire trail ends. It's probably a ground, connection, or the switch. Only way to determine which is to test with a meter. Good Luck!
