I'll second that!

I have PG slides and jacks. I'm dreading the day something breaks. I've yet to read one good experience in dealing with them, they just don't care. I sure wish they'd get bought out by someone who does!

Even if Powergear didn't want to sell to you direct, even though there are many manufacturers that will in an emergency situation, there's a procedure that the could have followed when it involved a broken part. While you were at their plant they could have put you in phone contact with a distributor who would call one of their dealers and act as a middle man to transact the sale with a credit card. The distributor would then give Powergear their P.O. number, which would allow them to give you the part. Might take a few minutes, but everyone's happy.

I realize that there are always ways to resolve an issue if wanted. What really irked me (to use appropriate language) was they didn't care and just told me to leave their lobby and then walked away from me.

Angry It hasn't changed......

Three years later and Power Gear is NOT a consumer friendly company.
No replies to my emails, my motor replacement order through a distributor took two weeks.

If I ever pass through Mishawaka, IN I am going to pay a local hog farmer and order a nice load of manure for their front lawn.

I had a problem with PG...a foot fell off one of my jacks while on the road. Still under warranty, emailed them, they said contact a dealer, did that...the dealer got the part and installed it. No charge from either PG or the dealer.

I'm with Cliff somewhere in the middle. Because of this great forum a. I knew they dealt only with dealers, many vendors are not set up for retail sales, b. I also knew they responded quickly to e mails, used them, very fast service in this respect. c. Their is no excuse for poor customer service other than the employee is not trained for retail or underpaid and frankly DGAS! I believe the coach manufacturer should have intervened on your behalf. JMO but well thought out.
