PPL does sell on consignment. The will try to get the seller to agree to drop the price after 90 days. The more they sell it for the more they make. They sold my year old TT for what I bought it from RV Wholesale for.

well... for one I dont think PPL would actually give you $50k if you tried to sell it. Maybe the girl had her act down pat and was trying to pull one over on ya or set your expectations low. After all... you did call for "grins" and not business.
Their method seems to work and move units because they arent laying out big capital expenditures on inventory or repairs.

Are you aware that you are not supposed to add options to the NADA price unless the item was truly an option at the time of original sale? I just looked up your model on the NADA website and the low retail appears to be ~$50k and the average retail is ~$60k. Since Beavers were pretty well appointed when built, it's difficult to imagine that you have more than $20k in options (evaluated cost as of today, not original cost) on yours.

Our options at 2002 $'s were over $35,000 and Dutch Stars are pretty well appointed too.
And yes, you don't add to the base price if an item was standard to that model. Ours came with 3 slides so you don't add for the slides. They're already in the base price for that model. Same for the 10 gallon WH, the motor aid however is an option as are slide covers and awnings so that's an add.
Lots of people don't realize that with NADA they need to know the original specs to figure a price.

If you looked at the online edition of NADA, you may well get a different value than PPL sees in their dealer subscription version. The online NADA is based on average depreciation rather than actual market (sales) data, so they can differ substantially for popular models.

And including options or not makes a big difference too. Despite what the NADA options price list implies, few options - even if truly options from the factory - add much retail value to a used RV.

You must have added in a lot for options to get to your $71k-$84k figure. In my opinion most of them would not even apply, let alone bring the value up $20k-$30k.
