PPL Service

Just a heads up to check the service that you pay for. Sad but true. We purchased a Mobile Suites from PPL in Oct. and paid an additional $115.00 to have it winterized since it was going into storage. We arrived back in the Houston area last week to retrieve the MS and after all the hookups we discovered the water valve on the back of the Dometic RM1350 was cracked in 5 places and pouring water out of the slide. After talking to Joy (service manager) PPL is standing by there work by replacing the valve. It had to be ordered so we will see in 3-4 days if we get the correct part. Not a gripe session since PPL is providing the replacement part and no cost, I just cannot believe it was not done since the valve sits right beside the refer vent.

I think they should also refund the $115, as well as replace the part.

Never hurts to ask as a disgruntled customer.

From being on the other side of counter from you, I personally wouldn't. I DEFINITELY would do what they are doing.
They charged $115 to do all the work they did. That work included not draining the ice maker water valve. It might've been more if they did, I don't know. Maybe they flat rate. I'm more fair to everyone and just bill the time it takes to do the job, and not bill the time it didn't take to not do the job, whatever it is.

I just like playing Devil's Advocate; like making people think and converse. Then you get the ones who go off . . .
